Liz and Laura over at Business and Blogging are playing a game right now. They were so peeved at the New York Times's recent article that blogging is not helpful for most small business owners that they challenge you to come up with a business that does NOT benefit from blogging.

They will find a way to make blogging useful and profitable for any kind of small business. Do you think you can stump these experts?
I've found company blogs on every topic imaginable, from plastic surgery (with celebirty before and after pictures!), to eco-friendly gDiapers, to gardening supplies, Hawaiian luaus, and bamboo flooring. In fact, if I'm looking at a compan, it helps to see if they do have a corporate blog, because this gives me more of a sense of who's "behind-the-scenes." Google has its own multitude of blogs. If that company can use it appropriately, I'm sure you can find a way to use a blog to support your work, as well.
Find a way to incorporate blogging into your company's activities for 2008. It's the best way to increase search engine rankings on your topic of interest (hint: search yourself and see what comes up), and it's an excellent way to draw in potential visitors who may become customers because of your blog.

Hi Monica!
You are so right. Blogging can benefit nearly every type of business. Yet, the majority businesses still do not have blogs.
Thanks for the link!
