When I started blogging here in February of this year, I had no real experience with the blogosphere. Now, I'm glad to say, ten months and 136 postings later, my blog is worth $24,275.22 (as of today December 11, 2006), and I have some more experince and a *lot* more to learn in 2007 and beyond.

NOTE! I'm not getting paid for this particular blog, I'm doing it for the glory! (and Know More Media www.knowmoremedia.com is kind enough to offer me top billing on their author sidebar as well as that nice website link on the top right corner for my business).
This blog is all about sharing all of our challenges, successes, and joys in business with a community that's very special to my heart: women of color entrepreneurs.
That said, I do have TWO requests for you.
One) You! Yes YOU! Start up a blog using WordPress.org on something that totally motivates you. I am starting a Pro Blogger Challenge 2007 through my company, 10K Webdesign which will take you through 12 months of building your business blog and positioning yourself as a thought leader for a low monthly fee.
Two) PLEASE write me at monica at sistersinbiz dot com if you are interested in contributing on a regular basis to this existing blog. While we won't promise you any revenue, the blog receives at least 100 people a day and just received our 25,000th visitor. We are steadily rising in terms of eyeballs, readership, and subscribers, and we need to hear your voice! If you feel called to share your knowledge and expertise with the rest of us, please let me know! If you are great at what you do and like to be of service, this blog is a fantastic place to share your voice.
