
Last week, I was invited to give a talk on "Creating your Brand: A Formula for Marketing Success" at the Mills College MBA program.
I addressed the advertising/PR night class and I'm glad to report that it was an invigorating and inspiring event for everyone in the room, especially me.
We started by playing a series of games (some examples for your fun below). These exercises are "brain candy" to help you get in the mindset of brand awareness, the importance of understanding a brand, and applying brand management to your own brand.
BRANDING GAME PART 1: Free Association
Say whatever comes into your mind right when you hear the keyword. There are no correct answers.

7) Snap crackle pop.

This is a really fun way to test how much these popular icons have been embedded into your consciousness, perhaps without you realizing!
