
Nooyi serves on the board of multiple companies and organizations, such as the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Motorola, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and the International Rescue Committee. She is a Successor Fellow at Yale Corporation and sits on the Advisory Board of the Yale University President's Council of International Activities.
She currently lives in Greenwich, Connecticut with her husband and their two daughters.
At PepsiCo., Nooyi's efforts were invaluable in starting Tricon, acquiring Tropicana, and, the public offering of Pepsi Cola bottling group, and the merger with Quaker Foods.
She joined PepsiCo in 1994 and was named Chief Financial Officer in 2001. On August 14 2006 she was named the CEO of PepsiCo, and she is the fifth CEO since PepsiCo's inception.
