Congratulations to the women at the non-profit The Asian Women Entrepreneurs (AWE), a membership organization dedicated to assisting Asian Pacific women realize their entrepreneurial potential. They've done it! They've completed one full year as a new community dedicated to APA women entrepreneurs.
AWE celebrated their one-year anniversary with over 100 participants at the Atrium Hotel in Irvine.
Guests included Dr. Marissa Pei, an inspirational business coach who spoke on “Bragging vs. Balanced Self-Promotion.”
State Farm Insurance, the title sponsor of the day, presented a workshop on their services and information on a career with the company.
The State Farm presentation preceded the lively and interactive keynote luncheon by Syndi Seid, professional trainer, speaker and founder of Advanced Etiquette based in San Francisco. Seid spoke on the topic, “Are you a smooth operator? Etiquette Skills to Out-Class the Competition and Become World-Class Competitive!”
