Devoted to women of color in business

Ladies, keep on the lookout for 'Shattered,' a new women's business magazine, which debuted last month in New York City.

Their tagline is "The Business Magazine that Breaks the Mold" and the launch issue features UK diva Nicola Horlick, a fund manager famed for acquiring $7 billion in assets in just three years at her previous job. Since then, she's set up Bramdean Asset Management and a new wealth management division for affluent women, Bramdiva.

"Aiming to elevate the coverage of women in business...The magazine, with an initial circulation of 75,000, is being distributed globally through professional women's organizations, Ivy League universities, business schools and corporate partners, including Lehman Brothers and UBS."

The magazine runs 10 times per year, beginning with the September issue and provides features on banking, finance, technology, law, industry, media and the arts.

Shattered Magazine, a privately held New York-based publishing company , is the publisher and Julie Ros is controlling director, publisher and editor in chief.
