Larry Stay, my colleague over at GrowYourFunds.com is
Devoted to understanding the basics and fundamentals of investing
He has a great series right now based on true-life cases of other Know More Media Authors at different ages:
At 25, starting to invest
At 50, catching up with retirement
and one on yours truly coming up soon.
As women of color, oftentimes we are not educated or do not pay attention to our bottom line.
Let's face it: all of us are in business to make money!
You might be at a management job, selling your time to your company... you might be self-employed in a products and services job, selling yourself to your customers... or you might be part of a team looking for great real estate deals or building a product to take to market... or you might be an investor in other people's ideas...
all of us are in business to make more money!
And a further note: we need our money to work for us!!!! We need to convert our earned income as quick as possible into dividend income from rents, royalties, and paper assets (stocks and bonds, loan notes, etc.): then we pay less taxes and we also have more control over our time.
Your money works for you!
You do not work for your money!
Now, as Larry says, "Go out there and make some money."
